Mountain Jam from Hinckley, Burbage and Tamworth to be exact are a modern rock band with a mixture of 60s and 90s influences. Formed in March 2015 their name from a song by the late 60s American rock band The Allman Brothers.
They released their first EP in September 2015 followed up by two singles in early 2016, since then they have been recording their debut album. They have been band of the month on BBC Introducing in Coventry & Warwickshire.
Their new single “Heavenly Blue” which was released on the 3rd of February is the first single to be taken from the bands forth coming debut album.
“Heavenly Blue” is an amazing song, from it’s catchy guitar riff to Dean’s amazing voice it gets you from the first few seconds and you cant help but tap along to the song. Listening to the song you can hear the bands influence’s from bands such as The Charlatans and The Stone Roses. It shows the bands talents and is worth checking out.
