His music is pop but pop created in a different way than pic music is usually made . He enjoys making songs with a retro alternative sound to it and is heavily inspired by madonna , ABBA , MJ and grace jones .

Which song was the most difficult to write?

“Sweetest pills” was definitely one of the hardest songs I ever written because I wanted it to be perfect and relatable. I had a difficult time piecing metaphors together that made sense. Eventually I was happy enough to release it after 12 long months.

How hard has it been to get your music noticed?

It’s been very hard. At times it can be frustrating seeing your peers get noticed before you while you’re still struggling but the love and passion I have for music makes it worthwhile. Plus amazing platforms such as yourself, That Blogger, gives me that drive I need to keep going.

Tell us a random fact about yourself.

I’m American and I’m obsessed with the UK and Britain pop culture. My English friends are always surprised that I know more UK bands then them. I’m also a massive S Club 7 fan and I’m not ashamed about it.

Describe your music in three words.

Retro, Gloom pop

If you could play at any venue in the world where would it be and why?

It would be Wrigley field in Chicago. It’s basically the biggest stadium we have here in Chicago and it would be so amazing to see all of my friends and family come and see me live on that huge stage.

If you could go on tour with any band/artist who would it be and why?

I would love to tour with Madonna because she’s the definition of a “entertainer” and I’ve been watching her performances and videos since I was in diapers. I think I would learn so much by touring with her.

What has been the best gig you have played?

So far it would have to be all the way back in 1998. I was chosen to perform in front of 500 people at only 7 years old! I was given a standing ovation!

What are your plans for 2017?

Tour across the US and UK in the summer and fall. Keep releasing singles and eventually music videos! I would also love to release my debut album this year with or without a record label.

Do you have a pre-show ritual?

before any gig I practice practice practice until I’m on that stage! I usually always think positive thoughts before any gig.

What advise would you give to a small band/artist trying to make it?

Be authentic and be humble. Don’t ever fell discouraged by the lack of support you may have at this point because one day you will have thousands.

What do you think makes your music stand out?

The retro dark undertones within my music. I try my hardest to create music that would be hard to compare to the next

Do you have any funny/interesting gig stories you can share with us?

I have one! Sorta! Lol During my taping of the Glee Project me and a castmate were given solos . After I done my solo it was her time to perform . Her name was Lana Marie btw (Sorry Lana) . As Lana went up to perform for the judges she insisted that I join her on stage to perform “No Air” by Jordin sparks and Chris brown . Mind you I didn’t know one single lyric of “no air” but the camera was there so I had to do it. The music came on and she started grabbing my hands singing to me and I just looked like a dead in the headlights . It was a mess. We both cut from the show after that haha

What has been the most random thing a fan has done to you or at a gig?

The most random thing a fan has ever done to me was when a fan gave me a random twitter account that he told me would be my official twitter page and he told me that he was my new manager and started sending my songs to platforms. It was odd at the time being but now I appreciate his over the top support lol
