Marvin’s Revenge are alternative rock band from Wirksworth, Derby made up by Luke Eaton (Bassist/Singer), Oliver Sammels-Moore (Guitarist), Job Gregory (Drummer).
Luke was kind enough to answer a few question for us, here’s what he had to say.
How did you meet?
Luke – “Me and Job have been friends with each other since reception and we became friends with ollie in year 7 when we went to secondary school”
Who were your musical influences growing up?
Luke – “We are all big fans of Foo fighters, queens of the Stone Age, Rage against the machine, nirvana but really, we listen to all sorts of music between us”
What was your first gig as a band?
Luke – “The First time we ever played in public as a band was September 2015 we decided to play on our drummers drive way during Wirksworth festival but were threatened by some that our instruments would be destroyed if we didn’t stop because we were too loud”
What has been your best/worst gig?
Luke – “Our worst gig is probably when we played at Dronfield village hall and many pensioners turned up for what they thought would be “rock ‘n’ roll” music but left when we started playing, and our best gig was probably at the fishpond in Matlock bath or Ashlehay festival as we had a good crowd and the sets went well”

Luke – “Really really loud… oh wait that’s 2 words. Really very loud”
Describe each member in 3 words
Ollie – “funky hair man”
Luke – “long bendy man”
Job – “tré thicc man”
Can you tell us about your new music?
Luke – “It’s new and it’s coming soon. Also, really very loud”
What are your plans for the rest of 2018?
Luke – “Play as much as possible and write some new choonos for you lovely people”
If you could collaborate with any artist who would it be and why?
Luke – “Dave grohl because he would provide sexy hair and beautiful sounds”
What was your first concert/gig and how much have they influenced you?
Luke – “Job our drummer saw foo fighters in 2012 and that’s when he decided he wanted to play drums”

Luke – “Keep checking our social stuff for new music and just give us some love in general because we love all of you xo”
