Chris Bramley is a young energetic 21 year old musician, from Leicester, who’s been doing gigs and open mics around mainly Leicester for a while now. His love of music and performing means he’s happy to play anywhere anytime. He has a lot of influences like The Beatles, The Kinks, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Jake Bugg and The Verve.

I first had the privilege to see Chris play at Duffys Bar last year where he was supporting Racketeers, and what a treat that was. He played ‘Not Nineteen Forever – The Courteeners’ and also ‘Suck It And See – Arctic Monkeys ’ two songs I hadn’t previously listened to before but just his covers alone got me into them.

He also played a few originals, a personal favourite of mine being ‘Glitz And Glamour’ it’s so catchy! His writing style seems to follow in the footsteps of bands he likes, and he’s got that great Britpop sound to his music that we all love. Chris says he writes his songs about the working class life of young adulthood, a situation that a lot of people can relate to, so you can easily feel connected to his music.

Recently Chris embarked on a small tour in Germany, through the end of July to August, where he kept everyone up to date on his social media with exclusive recordings of covers and some of his new tracks, so there’s plenty of new material for you to check out.
Chris Bramley is someone you should keep your eyes open for, he’s got some exciting announcements to make and his cheerful easy listening music is something everyone can enjoy.
