BINES are a four-piece rock n roll band from Leyland, Lancashire born out of the dissatisfaction and non-existence of decent guitar music. Made up by Danny (vocals/rhythm guitarist), Matt (lead guitarist), Pete (Drums) and Jim (bass). They released their debut EP ‘The Mill’ earlier this year and what an amazing EP it is! I didn’t think the band could get any better, but I was wrong! The band are now back again with their latest EP ‘These Streets’ and what a fantastic EP it is. It’s a little over 6 minutes of 90’s Britpop with a modern twist, it fun, catchy and exactly what any 90’s Britpop fan wants to hear.
My favourite track from the EP has to be ‘These Streets’, from the first few seconds it draws you in and you listen to every word Danny sing, from it’s almighty chorus to its catchy riffs and chorus it will have you tapping and singing along. It’s just a great song to listen to and is bound to get any crowd going.
Another fantastic EP from a talented band that are bringing back great guitar music and the Brit pop sound with a modern twist. The EP itself is well produced, full of some great vocals and guitar riffs. You need to listen to it to find out for yourself how brilliant these guys are. An exciting band that I can see going far!
