Cucamaras back with a brand new single ‘Window Seat’.
‘Window Seat’, is the second of a dynamic double-helping of new tunes from Cucamaras, and follows previous single ‘Keep It Cool’. Riding a wave of inspiration, both tracks were written in the same week and then recorded on the same day at Rainy Daze Studio in Nottingham. Additional mixing and mastering was taken-on by Joe Fisher and Elliot McCoid.
You know when you hear a song, just the once and it gets stuck in your head all day? Sometimes this is the worst thing ever! However, this was certainly not the case when listening to the band’s latest single.
This fun track about enjoying life’s simple pleasures like getting a Window Seat on a plane is a joy to listen to. It has a catchy chorus that you will be singing along to and a sound that will have you tapping along, it has a chilled yet fun sound throughout the track which I feel would make this the ideal track to add to your summer playlist.
I’ve been a fan of Cucamaras since I first heard their debut EP ‘Until the Meter Runs Out’ at the beginning of last year, they never fail to impress me when they release new music and some how manage to sound even better with every single they release.
This single has the perfect balance of guitar, bass, drums and vocals, it’s a fun single to listen to and a slight chilled vibe to it which shows off a different side to this bands usual sound.
A brilliant single from a talented band who mean business and are a band to keep an eye on as I can only see good things happening for this band.
