It’s not often a I discover a new band and instantly love their music within seconds of hearing it, however, when I heard China bamboo for the first time I was instantly hooked. As soon as I pressed play and began to listen to ‘Ambivalence (For You)’ I was sold, the vocals and chilled sound instantly made me stop what I was doing and grabbed my attention.
It was impossible to not listen to incredible single from beginning to end without feeling like I had been taken back in time to the 80’s with the bands unique sound. What I love though is how the band have combined their influences together and create a sound that has a hint of the past but also a modern twist by creating their own unique sound.
The delicate vocals, layered guitar riffs and brilliant instrumentals will have you hooked. The bands unique sound instantly draws you in, it stops you in your tracks and makes you listen to every sound and word. I love how they have created a track which is so powerful without having to go overboard on the vocals and instrumentals, it shows off the bands talent so well.
The single is full of soulful sounds, combined with the vocals this makes this easy listening track a joy to listen too from the very start. The beautiful vocals and a simple yet catchy sound make this track a treat to listen too, the combination of instrumentals and vocals is magical and will awaken every hair on the back of your neck.
This single has a charm to it, it had my attention within seconds, I even had goose bumps as I sat listening to this track. You need to listen to this track to fully appreciate its charm.
