Blake Collins is an indie rock singer-songwriter, currently based in Los Angeles, California. He has released “SHE GIVES YOU THAT LOOK,” the first single from his forthcoming full-length album, back in July of this year and followed it up with a second single, “YOUR LOVE IS GOOD,” which he released in September. As he gear up for a third single release, I will be releasing a holiday track, “It’s Christmas Time,” and is available on Bandcamp and on Soundcloud.
Featuring classic Christmas sounds like sleigh bells, this is a Christmas song that we won’t be getting sick of anytime soon. Blake has created a Christmas track that you will love with the classic Christmas sounds and injected a dose of indie rock and originality that you will fall in love with instantly.
What I love the most is how Blake uses poetic lyrics in the track which combined with the amazing vocals makes this track so special. As I was listening to this track I couldn’t help but hear the reminiscent of great bands like The Kinks and Beach Boys which is not a bad thing.
It’s always a good time to get into the spirit. While this year has been weird, this track is a glimmer of happiness. Instead of playing the same old classics over and over again, try listening to this amazing single, you won’t be disappointed.
