A pure breed indie guitar band from Warrington, their debut single ‘Sixties Hearse’ was produced by Sugarhouse and recorded at Catalyst Studios, St Helens. Through gigging round the north west, they have gained a steady following, supporting bands such as Valeras and also playing on the bill at Warrington Music Festival, headlined by Black Grape.
The band have released a new single ‘Jumped the gun’ which is available to stream on all music platforms.
It usually takes me a few listens to a brand-new single for me to fully get into it, however, this was not the case when I pressed play on Aligners latest track, within the first few seconds of listening to ‘Jumped the gun’ I was sold, the guitar riff instantly made me stop what I was doing and listen.
It is impossible to not listen to track from beginning to end and not wish you was listening to it being played live. The strong vocals, layered guitar riffs and brilliant instrumentals will have you hooked within seconds and you will be up on your feet dancing around.
To me this single is brilliant, I love the almighty chorus which no doubt will be stuck in your head after hearing this single for the first time. The single is packed full of energy, great vocals, it has everything you would want to hear from an instantly memorable indie classic song.
A fantastic single from a talented band, if they keep making music like this, I can see them having a bright future.
10/10
