Matter of Mind are a young three-piece rock group from Stockport, a town that resides in Greater Manchester. The band have recorded two EP’s and have toured the UK extensively and parts of mainland Europe. They channel a classic, old school emo style with a modern twist and throw pop melodies into the pot that will have you singing your heart out.

The band have gigged relentlessly, storming the stages of venues and festivals over the UK and Europe including Truck Fest, Y Not Festival and Tramlines Fest.

The band have worked closely on their music with the likes of Phil Gornell (Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low, Deaf Havana) and Callum Benson (Deaf Havana, Milestones, Hot Milk) at Steel City Studios as well as Ben Samson from Lower Than Atlantis. The boys have been featured heavily in rotation over at BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and many other UK radio stations as well as Sirius XM in the USA.

The band released their three most ambitious singles to date in 2020 which saw the group experience an incredible growth. Their latest single ‘The Killing of You & I’ was featured on Spotify’s ‘All New Rock’ editorial playlist.

A huge thank you to J, Ash and Robert for taking the time to do the interview and for making it fun.
