Indie band Repose have released their comeback single ‘Plus One’, after more than a year of apparent inactivity, the Leeds four-piece return with the release of their much anticipated, triumphant party anthem ‘Plus One’. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms.

It usually takes me a few listens to a track for me to fully get into it, especially if it’s a track from a band I’ve recently discovered, however, this was not the case when I pressed play on ‘Plus One’, within the first few seconds of listening to the track I was sold, the guitar riff instantly made me stop what I was doing and, listen, I was hooked.

It’s impossible to not listen to incredible track from beginning to end, the strong vocals, layered guitar riffs and brilliant instrumentals will have you hooked within seconds and you will be up on your feet dancing around as if you are at one of the bands gigs, which I think we all wish we were at right now.

The band high energy and relatable lyrics instantly grabbed your attention, their unique sound packs a punch and draws you in. As I was listening to this track, I was taken back to the early 90’s, to the Britpop scene and I felt I was listening to one of the band’s I use to listen to who made me fall in love with music. What I also love is how the band have created their own unique sound which you can’t help but love, there is something so special about it that instantly has you hooked.

An impressive single from a talented band, if they keep making music like this, I can see them having a bright future.
