Jamie Strachan is an indie/folk singer-songwriter from Glasgow. Jamie has been working on new music and recording a live session video for my debut acoustic single “Fall of a Man” which was released at the start of lockdown.
“The lyrics are heart on sleeve about struggles, and I’ve felt a lot of it more just like many others during this pandemic” – Jamie.
Your ears are greeted to the sound of an acoustic guitar, the intro will capture your attention within seconds. The acoustic sound is followed by some modulated vocals by Jamie which helps to create a single which will have any listener hooked.
The single is a little over 3 minutes of relatable lyrics, beautiful vocals and a simple yet catchy acoustic sound. The combination of guitar with Jamie’s vocals is magical. It starts simply but builds and builds and is guaranteed to induce tears and awaken every hair on the back of your neck. I can imagine this song sounding great live especially in a small venue.
