Indie rock quartet Sirocco are releasing their new single, Just the Ticket, off the back of their debut album release ‘A Day in the Life’ and latest single ‘Be My Saturday’ which, to date, has received over 2,200 streams and reached 5th on the UK physical charts.
It usually takes me a few listens to an track for me to fully get into it, especially if it’s from a band I’ve recently discovered, however, this was not the case when I pressed play on this debut track. Within the first few seconds of listening to ‘Just the Ticket I was sold.
It’s impossible to not listen to incredible single from beginning to end, the strong vocals, layered guitar riffs and brilliant instrumentals will have you hooked within seconds and you will be up on your feet dancing around as if you are at one of the bands gigs.
The band high energy and ability to create a memorable song instantly grabs your attention, their unique sound packs a punch and draws you in. As I was listening to this single I was taken back to the early 00’s, the band’s sound and way the single made me feel I felt like I had gone back in time and I was listening to the bands I use to listen to back in the early 00’s who made me fall in love with music.
This single has everything I look for in a single, a catchy sound and relatable lyrics which work so well together to create a memorable track that was stuck in my head for days.
