“We are Keep This Up – a 4 piece pop punk band from Peterborough, UK. We make pop punk for those people who miss the early 2000’s music such as Blink 182, Green Day, Sum 41 etc”.

How did you all meet?

“We met through mutual friends and friends of friends really. It took a year to finally get together and finalise the lineup but we managed to record our debut single Punchlines then and release it with the launch of the band despite lockdown”.

Who were your musical influences growing up?

“Our musical influences range from bands like All Time Low, New Found Glory to Bring Me The Horizon, Frank Turner and Green Day. There’s a very broad selection of influence in our band as we grew up”.

What made you want to be in a band?

“For us, we just wanted to write music we enjoy and can call our own. To be able to have a laugh together and play shows and enjoy the music we create”.

What has been your best gig?

“Our best gig has probably been our EP release gig, with the help of Bedlam Bookings we had a cracking EP launch show last month. IT was lovely to see friends and fans there and to release our new music to everyone that we have worked so hard on in between lockdowns and covid”.

Can you tell us a bit about your music?

“So we are a pop punk band from Peterborough, we writie music similar to that of early 2000’s pop punk bands. Our new EP Same Old Story has just been released (on 24th September) to all major streaming platforms. We are always writing in the background but we are so proud of our new songs”.

Can you describe your music in 3 words?

“Catchy, Energetic, Fun”

What makes your band stand out from others?

“We aim to write fun pop punk but with lyrics that people can relate to. We want to be a band that people can really enjoy but also connect with on an emotional level”.

What are your plans for the rest of 2021?

“For the rest of this year, we are looking to promote our new EP Same Old Story. Then keep writing more for future releases”.

If your band had to be remembered for one thing apart from your music what would you want it to be?

“That our drummer can fit his full drum kit setup in the back of a Ford KA. Honestly the greatest feat we’ve ever witnessed”.

“No gigs currently planned but watch this space! More things coming soon!”
