Stephanie Lau is a singer/songwriter from Cambridge who has just released her latest single ‘Gotta Get Away’ which is available to stream on all music platforms.
‘Gott Get Away’ is a little over 4 minutes of relatable lyrics combined with a simple yet catchy sound and some beautiful vocals which all come together to create a brilliant single which is guaranteed to have you hooked within the first few seconds of the song. This is a basic guarantee with any track created by Stephanie and is a joy to hear every time, what I also love is how Stephanie creates tracks which have these guarantees but also give each track it’s own unique sound.
If you are not already hooked by the time the vocals start, you soon will be with Stephanie’s delicate and angelic vocals which really make this song come alive. The vocals work so well and will have you listening to every word, they will have you griped even when you think you’ve escaped them. What I also love is how the vocals tell a story beautifully but also give this track a slightly uplifting sound which will no doubt have you tapping along at the very least.
The combination of instrumentals with Steohanie’s vocals is magical and such a joy to hear. It starts simply but builds and builds and is guaranteed to become one of your favourite tracks, this is a fantastic single which I cannot fault. There is no doubt that after hearing this track for the first time you will instantly relate to this song, be tapping along to the sound and will have the lyrics of this brilliant track stuck in your head.
This single is a little treat for the ears which they defiantly need to hear.
