I think everybody brings their own expertise, ideas and influences to the table. I look at Leaving Eden as an eclectic rock band. Lots of different styles based in rock. We also have some acoustic/pop material. Leaving Eden is best seen live to really get the full experience and the sharing of the energy between the crowd and the band. We get off on each other, together”.

How did you all meet?

“Myself, Eve, and Rick the bass player, we played in a band together before Leaving Eden and it was really good. After the first hundred people came up to me and told me how great Eve was, I knew that I had to do something for her. Then Jake decided to join and Alyssa we met at a gig, and she wanted in. The rest is history as they say”.

Who were your musical influences growing up?

“Well I’ve always listen to older stuff my whole life and I really liked black sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Richie Blackmore and then I liked acoustic stuff like Simon and Garfunkel and bands like the Beatles and ELO. Just gotta love that harmony man”.

What made you want to be in a band?

“Well I’ve played an instrument since I can remember starting on an organ and piano. I’ve tried to get every instrument that I could into my hands and learn it. I guess you could say I was driven. Two of my great grandfathers had their own orchestras one in Italy and one in Germany so I guess it does flow through the blood. So I just wanted to play, that’s it, anyhow, anyway, anywhere”.

What has been your best gig?

Can you tell us a bit about your music?

“Leaving Eden’s new album “ As Above So Below” released on August 5, 2022 Dark Star Records/Sony/Universal/worldwide distribution is just as heavy as the previous 11 Albums. There’s lots of melody, harmony and some cool licks and tricks throughout.

That’s a John Lennon song we covered on the New album. Here is a video link to our single off of the album titled “Green” https://youtu.be/c6idLsUyO6o

It’s a little heavy got some great harmony and melody I feel like it’s got a good vibe and a great beat. Quick note; titled “Green” because of the line “and the sky turned green in the distance of a dream“. I wasn’t sure why I was writing that when I did but then I noticed somewhere in the country the skies were green. So a little bit prophetic you could say.

You can buy or stream our new album anywhere these services are offered worldwide. Where our songs are pretty much based in reality and lyric driven, this new album gives you insight into how we view things in the world today”.

Describe your music in 3 words.

“Eclectic rock music”

What makes your band stand out from others?

“Well I hate to say “stand out from others”, but maybe what do we have to offer? Only because I really feel any original band is quite unique. There’s no one else playing it, performing it unless you’re a superstar and everyone wants to cover it. Leaving Eden and Silver Springs Fleetwood Mac Tribute for that matter, we really share the energy with whoever’s with us, together. It’s a party and we are so there! Eve goes out and sits with people, dances with people, sings directly to people and we all feel it, pure energy on stage that becomes visually and auditorily vibrant”.

What are your plans for the rest of 2022?

“Here’s a link to our schedule and although we I have just released our newest album we’re coming to that time of year where we start creating our next album so we will be working on that. https://www.bandsintown.com/a/329812-leaving-eden”

If your band had to be remembered for one thing apart from your music what would you want it to be?

“That we have a clear message and maybe a not so clear meaning”.
