Ashley Stacey is an Indie Rock singer / songwriter from South East London. Ashley gravitates towards bands with renowned songwriters (The Beatles, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The La’s, The Libertines, The Kinks) that paint pictures through musical poetry. This has seeped into his songwriting as demonstrated in the well-crafted lyrics, delivered via uplifting melodies & soaring choruses.

In 2021 Ashley formed “Ashley Stacey & The Morning Sun” alongside some extremely talented musicians. September saw the start of the full band shows, kicking off in style with a brilliant sold out This Feeling gig at The Old Blue Last, Hoxton. This of course led to other amazing gigs, including a sold out show at the prestigious Water Rats and gigs at including The Good Mixer Camden, Chislehurst Rocks, The Finsbury, The Lexington, & The 100 Club!

Nearly a year after the last release, Ashley is back with a bang! The track is pure in your face Rock n’ Roll when its needed most. Dirty electric guitars, Powerful drums, Groovin’ Bass & Rockin’ keys. Not to the mention the vocals & lyrics… This one packs a punch!

You know when you hear a song, just the once and it gets stuck in your head all day? Well, this was certainly the case when listening to the Ashley’s latest single ‘Do You Feel’, sometimes this is the worst thing ever! However, with this track that wasn’t the case.

This single has a sound which instantly grabs your attention – a basic guarantee from any song created by Ashley, it will have you tapping along and there is no escaping it along with brilliant instrumentals which help to create a catchy, upbeat sound which you will instantly fall in love with.

Ashley’s vocals complete this impressive single; his modulated vocals draw you in and you can’t help but sit and listen to every single word he sings. The vocals combined with the brief and faultless lyrics create something that is instantly relatable and if somehow the listener wasn’t already a fan of this track they soon will be after hearing the incredible vocals and lyrics.
