How did you all meet?
“I (Roméo, lead singer-guitarist) met Vince (drummer/back vocalist) when we were 10 years old!! It’s a long love story (laughs). We started the band when we were 14 in our native city (called Troyes, in France). Then we never stopped playing together. We met Rudy (bassist/back vocalist) and André (keyboardist/back vocalist) in Paris years after, we were all connected super fast and the complicity was here.”
Who were your musical influences growing up?
“We do have a very large panel of influences. Musically, from the Woodstock years, The Beatles etc… to more recent bands like Kings of Leon, Muse etc… We also have Rhythm’n’blues, classical and jazz influences…”
What made you want to be in a band?
“I think I always liked the idea of sharing music on stage, to be part of a crew, a team. My fav band of all time are The Beatles, and I have seen through them all I like about being in a band. Playing with friends, sharing your passion, living the good moments but also the bad ones. It’s a journey where I wouldn’t like to be alone.”
What has been your best gig?
“The best show for us was maybe during the european tour in 2018 at the Hills of Rock festival in Bulgaria. It is a rock / hard-rock / metal festival and we were kinda the only band playing pop-rock music there. We were headlining the second stage, but we were afraid that the crowd would not appreciate our music. Finally, it turned out to be a great show in front of thousands of people, the audience was incredible.”
Can you tell us a bit about your music?
“Our music is quite “open”. I mean you’ll discover so many different atmospheres. We have some very Rock songs, very acoustic ones, Pop ones. We like to mix different energies together and we add a small touch of Electro sounds. But one thing is always important to us, the melody. It has to be catchy. Our latest single is a Rock one called “Ordinary Heroes” extracted from our new EP “(Be)For Tomorrow”.
Can you describe your music in 3 words?
“Catchy / Rock / Melodic”
What makes your band stand out from others?
“I think we are real performers when it comes to Live. And we have a huge interaction with people during our shows. Each show for us is really unique and we always play like if it was the first time. Also, I guess we give a special focus on the melodies and the vocal signature and harmonies, we try our best to create music you’ll be able to appropriate for yourself.”
What are your plans for the rest of 2021?
“We’re about to film a new music video on our single “Ordinary Heroes”, we are building and creating a new show for the next tours and we’re finally giving some shows again. Next year, we will release our new album “For Tomorrow” and be back on the road. Can’t wait!!”
If your band had to be remembered for one thing apart from your music what would you want it to be?
“Our long lasting friendship.”
Do you have any gig’s coming up?
“Yes!! In Paris, in 2022. Also rebooking gigs in Europe (Germany Italy, Spain etc…) and our 1st US tour + Central America Tour & Latin America. Also we will give one of the biggest and crazy shows in Spring 2022 in our native city for the release of our album (but it’s still a surprise!!)”.
