Nory-J is the indie pop pseudonym of British phenomenon Jack Spooner. Band turned solo croc pot, his artistry has found itself with BBC Radio Solent, international reviewers and throughout NEXT and Marks and Spencer stores across the UK. His debut and sophomore singles Tough Cookie and Fish Like Me amassed over 3000 views, plays and streams across social media as well as placing Spooner firmly on BBC Introducing and Co-op Radio across Great Britain.
Fairy dust is the first 2022 release of Indie Pop phenomenon Nory-J (Jack Spooner) and acts as a prequel for his long awaited ‘beyond me, i think’ EP to come in the following weeks.
Following Nory’s warm welcome to the UK and Global Indie Pop scene in late 2021, the BBC Introducing artist has hit the ground running with live performances and new releases in the New Year. His song Fairy dust relives Spooner’s perspective of pre-pandemic social struggles over an energetic groove like no other. With his previously displayed soft and energetic voice, Nory-J uses the 80’s inspired head-bopper for his vocal performance like nothing else seen from the 21 year old as of yet. Stay tuned for more from Nory-J in 2022!
